तजुर्बा दिल के इस खेल का सीखा हमने
सब कुछ लगा कर दाँव पर,
डूबकर आग के दरिया में
पहुँचना होता है साहिल पर ।
यूँ तो इक बार सभी
गुज़रते हैं इश्क़ की राह पर,
दिल में उसकी सूरत लिए
रहते सातवें आसमान पर ।
आसानी से मिलती नही मंज़िल
रखना पड़ता है पत्थर दिल पर,
आशिक़ी में पहचान बनती है
ख़ुद को उसमें खोकर ।
दिल की चोटों से डरने वाले
छोड़ दो ये रास्ता समय पर,
मंज़िल पाने को सफ़र लम्बा और
चलना है काँटों भरी राह पर ।
और बनता नही है कोई यहाँ कवि
इश्क़ की बाज़ी जीत कर,
खूं को स्याही करना पड़ता है
यूँ ही नहीं उतरता दर्द काग़ज़ों पर ।
