रात और बात

और क्या चाहिए तुमसे करने को बात ,
दिल में तेरी याद और एक तनहा रात ।

हवा भी सरसराए तो मुझमें खिल उठते जज़्बात,
बग़ल तेरे होने के एहसास से मुकम्मल होती रात ।

इक भीड़ सी है मुझमें जो न रहने दे मुझे शान्त ,
यादों के कारवाँ संग मैं बेहद अकेला इस रात ।

ज़िन्दगी के सफ़र में तुम कहीं मैं कहीं, न होती बात,
सिर्फ़ यादों को साथ लेकर बोलो कैसे बीते रात ।

और क्या चाहिए तुमसे करने को बात ,
दिल में तेरी याद और एक तनहा रात ।
